I was making a new icon yesterday with Clay on it and my 5 year old son came in and said "mom your weird". Then when he saw Clay on it--he said "mom that's american idol". He dosent call him clay; he calls him american idol. And I think to myself that is right baby boy---that is exatly what he is he is mama's american idol!! LOL! Even if we are in the grocery store and the kids go to look at videos and magazines they come running back to me saying look who is in this magazine. But these are the same kids that when we are in the van driving around and I have "Invisible" blarring~~~~they are singing every word!! But then again kids learn by repitition. Gee, I must be listening a bit too much to MOAM. I am a proud claymate!! You are all right that is why they call it Clack!!!! I could be addicted to worse. I feel now since I have read some of your posts that I can say this; there are some moments when I don't see him in a motherly way!! Whew!!! The guy is hot!! No doubt about it!! So yes I am addicted!!! ANd yes I am looking for a 12 step program to help ease my addiction. But I know when the new album comes out---it will start all over again!! Must go and feed the addiction!!! The guys in the white coats are after me!! I wont go!! Hello, my name is Ms bubbles; and I am addicted to Clack!!! Thanks for letting me share all!! I have the book cover and MCWL CD cover on the back of the car window, plus the license plate that says "I'd rather be at a Clay Aiken concert". People behind me wave and hold up their CD. I wear lots of Claywear on the weekends when visiting the stores and the mall. Plus my purse has a picture of him on the outside and of course my keychain. Just today while buying lunch the cashier, ooh'd and aah'd at my coin purse so I brought out all 6 pictures and showed her. Same thing happened at the pharmacy a while back and at the gas station, they even ask how he is and thought I was his mom! My son has a new girlfriend and of course I gave her 3 CD's and now she just loves him and can't wait to go to the next concert, oh please let there be a concert this summer that we can go to. My workmates all got to borrow multiple copies of MCWL but won't give them back!

Every time someone tells me that I'm addicted to Clay, I laugh at them and tell them how great he is and what he's all about and tell them I am NOT addicted........ Well, The other day when the board was reeeeaaaalllyyy sssssslow, I went to TTC and clicked on a thread with nothing but pictures. Know what????? I felt a wave of joy and relief to see that face!!!!!!!! I'm ADDICTED!!!!!!!!!!

I couldn't go a day without seeing him, listening to his music, or watching clips of him. It was a rather unhealthy addiction. Clay was on my mind almost 24/7 and that's really bad for me especially being a student and everything. I am still a fan of Clay's now but I don't let this "obsession" take over me anymore. I need to be in control, not Clay

Can't go a day without Clack, Clay or anything like that, I'd definately be antisocial all day if I did (like on Xmas day, I didn't talk to anyone hardly!! >.<) I don't know how I got on without him! <snark>But don't you hate that feeling when people look at you weird when you're wearing something with Clay on it or listening to a CD? The last time I did that was between 1964-1970 when I got my "16 Magazine's" every month, walking miles to the store to get it!!!! But then it was; Beatles, Herman's Hermits, Paul Revere and the Raiders, etc.
