I am pleased to announce that the fan-based fundraising initiative, Penny Lane Project, will be taking place this fall/winter 2005 in conjunction with the Joyful Noise Tour 2005. ALL proceeds will benefit the Bubel/Aiken Foundation. Our website can be found at members.shaw.ca/pennylaneproject Watch soon for updates on Summer totals. Until now, monies raised have only been listed here. I will ensure the totals are transferred to the website shortly. Penny Lane raised $20310.42 in the summer 2004 campaign and $280 in the winter 2004/05 campaign thanks to the tireless efforts of dozens of volunteer coordinators and generous donors across the continent. Combined with the $5950 from this summer, our grand total raised through two summers of Penny Lane is $26561.06 !!!! What a success thanks to all of you. Let's do it again!! The project was featured on the BAF website under volunteer showcase here Start saving those pennies, dimes, nickels, quarters and dollars!! We hope to have collection jars at all pre-parties during the Joyful Noise Tour 2005. As always, you can send in individual donations through Paypal to pennylaneproject@shaw.ca which will then be forwarded on to the BAF. I notified Judy (who is planning our Toronto pre-party) when you posted this a couple of weeks ago. I believe she is in the process of sorting it all out. I can't wait to see what we raise this time around!
