So I get up and no sooner than I'm off the couch she jumps on it! You know your dog is spoiled when she woofs at you to get off the couch!

Our cat has this idea that the new recliner is her PERSONAL chair.. so if any of us are sitting in the chair, she will jump up and squeeze herself into a small corner of chair space, and then slowly stretch out till she forces you to get up. Then she stretches out to fill the whole seating space, leaving us out in the cold... She has us trained very well.. LOL Dianne

Omg...soooo funny Fay, yes the spanx held up, but, I couldn't put shoes on until today. Omg, dancing in heels is the pits!!!! Went to church in sneakers yesterday. Fool that I am, I saw a sequin dress the day before NYEve, and I bought it. Those things fell all over the place, in my house, in the car, on the firehouse floor, even in my bra. It was just a whim, my nephew is getting married on January 14th, and thought the dress would be nice. Sooo, I wore it on NYE, its gonna be bald by the 14th. My friends were teasing me sayin....."Ummm, aren't you a little UNDER DRESSED for the firehouse?!?!? Yep, but how many times do u actually get dressed really up? Almost never....lol Around Phillie and Jersey, at midnight we do "The Mummer's Strut", a dance that is so much fun. Somebody grabbed me and he got his watch caught on my sleeve, and there went 1000 more sequins. This is TMI for a Monday morning. Have a great day everyone.

Beginning with two miles on the treadmill and a few minutes on the elliptical daily. I'll start with some floor and band exercises...but I gotta be able to get back up again gonna give it a few more days to get some flexibility going

Double on my end to that!! Faybelady, I think you just gave me the incentive to start exercising again. Good luck! I am probably going to get peed on soon. Kelli Nikita has to go to the vet for her vaccines in a few minutes. She gets so scared that she pees on me as I carry her to her carrier! I have it in here with me and am going to try to get her in it without the necessity of changing clothes before I go. Here she is playing with 4 catnip thingys this morning. And Dennis Randall provides endless cute picutres - It almost looks like the little lamb is kissing him. Wendy - how about a pic of your dog.................

It is not a shoveler, which is a good thing since I haven't bought a new snow shovel yet this year. I think I'll just stay inside and watch the Rose Parade. Brrrr. [And ogle all those great pics in the naughty thread]!

Reply Quote More Recent Posts	And then if you watch the Rose Bowl - root for the Badgers!!!!!!!! *Go Big Red*. I have to watch the game all alone. DH took Friday off so he's at work. It's so much more fun watching games with someone else. Kelli Nikita didn't pee on me, or in the carrier on the way to the Vet , or on the Vet, and they got a urine sample this time, to check the pH. I had to play Clay's Silent Night over and over and over again in the car though. Seems she preferred that to the Backyard Birds CD this time. She didn't like it when other songs came on where Clay sang the powerful notes. When he did, she meowed loudly in protest and calmed down again when I put the CD back to Silent Night. Its a good thing I like that song. Her heart sounded good (thanking the Lord we caught the hyperthyroidism early and cured that)! She'll have another ionized calcium check on 2/11 and I pray the calcium level has gone down. If it has, she will be a healthy little squirt. And fay, you brave girl getting on an elliptical?!?!?! My son has a whole gym in his house, and I DUST the equipment. Scared to death to even try the elliptical. Skeery stuff. . Thats why I have to suck the fat in with a huge spanx. I line dance twice a week, thats the extent of my exercise. Good luck to all the dieters this year. Keep the dogs and cat coming, they really are ....Man's Best Friend.

Reply Quote More Recent Posts	Miss Kitty must be savvy to avoid that wolf who is no doubt coming around due to food out for her. How in the heck did you get that picture of the wolf? Did you use a telephoto lens or are they not afraid of people? That is one heck of a neat picture of it faybelady! Here is Scruffy Rose Marie believe it or not, sound asleep, with her eyes open on the radiator and Kelli Nikita relaxing after her harrowing visit to the Vet -

She disappeared for about six weeks last summer and I was certain that the fox got her. My DH spotted her on the 4th of July in a neighbors woods lurking around a deserted cabin. I immediately went over there, left some food and water and moved about 50 feet away. She slowly approached the food, watched me carefully and we were back in business. I fed over there everyday until it got cold then one day she didn't come. I could tell the fox was eating the food because he carries the bowl off and leaves a "deposit" in it??? A few days later I saw Miss Kitty back in my woods and followed at a distance. She climbed up under the tarp covering our giganto wood pile under the deck. Apparently that is going to be her winter home. Anyone watching at a distance would think I am a bit deft...every time I pass the wood pile I am talking and cooing to the tarp. She peeks out at me at times when I leave her food and I've seen her sunning herself on warm days. Apparently she does winters here and summers at the cabin

Reply Quote More Recent Posts	Okay, faybelady, I still want to know how you got that great picture of the fox...... You know, I bet if that were Chrispy or me, we would probably sit out there and wait for Miss Kitty to come to us, and then wait until she lets us get closer until one day she would let us pet her and bam - captured and tamed. Yeah, nice dream - one can do it with some ferals but not all. Miss Kitty is just precious and is lucky to have you taking care of her. Here is my Mr. & Mrs. from last night. It's been love at first site for these two - or rather for Kelli. She was smitten with Dennis immediately and the good ole boy that he is, he just accepts her loving him. Dennis Randall's head was up but he hates the camera so he buried it into Kelli Nikita. That was quite a Rose Bowl game yesterday - either team could have won. I guess it's the first time in 95 years that the Ducks have won it. I had a feeling from the get-go that they were in it to win it. I know the Badgers were too, but it just seemed the Ducks had a little extra spark. I felt bad after I hear the WI coach's press interview. Bless his heart, you could tell he was disappointed but when he got to the part where he thanked the fans, his voice choked up and you could see he was really fighting back the tears.
