Posts: 816 03/23/12 2:10 AM Reply Quote More Recent Posts	I have an ACER laptop and my C drive is running out of space. I have done the disk clean up and defrag. I have a D drive (data) should I transfer all of stuff on my C drive, I.e. clay pics and stuff, to D drive or buy external hard drive. What would be a good one that doesn't cost to much? TIA Krisa

Posts: 2908 03/23/12 2:25 AM Reply Quote More Recent Posts	I use external drives for all my music, videos, photos, just copy what I use frequently to C: drive. Check out Seagate, I have their drives. Western Digital is also good. And think about whether you want to be able to carry it with you or if you just want one that sits on your desk and is a little bigger. You could still take it with you but it would be a bit more cumbersome. Consider also what size you want, 500 gb to 1.5 or even 2 TB. I have 1.5 TB and still tons of room on it. External drives at Best Buy

Posts: 2908 03/23/12 2:20 PM Reply Quote More Recent Posts	Yes, flash drives are really good for transferring files from one computer to another or taking your school project to Kinko's to have it printed, not for mass storage. External drives are real easy, plug and play. They plug into a USB port and you can play your Clay videos direct from them or your music. Your computer sees them just like it sees an internal drive, you can copy files, play media, move things around using Windows Explorer.
