Posts: 154 12/05/11 11:28 PM Reply Quote More Recent Posts	I am happy to announce that we will extending the Fan Fest Weekend to include a group viewing party Sunday night. We will not know the results of that show we will all be watching until the final show Sunday May 20th, 2012! You will be able to cheer on your favorite contestant. What better company to share the momentous occasion with and what a awesome way to end a great weekend??? We are planning on renting a "big" screen TV and providing beverages and snacks. Everything will be set up in a room at the Yorktowne Hotel. You can leave after the show or extend your "holiday" another night. The hotel has agreed to extend the "special event" room rate through Sunday night. Now you are probably wondering what you will do with yourself during the afternoon. Public transportation is available all Sunday afternoon to a great Mall where there is a wonderful movie theater so you could easily do a matinee or just shop!! The bus returns to a downtown location at many different times during the afternoon. Bus schedules and fares will be available at the registration table on Saturday. Depending on how many would be interested we could meet at the Hotel's casual dining area "The Off Center Grill" for dinner before adjourning to our room for the evenings entertainment!! I hope you will consider joining your Clay Pals for yet another evening of fun!! The cost to attend the evening event will only be $12 a person. This will cover the room rental, TV rental and snacks. With any funds left over we will do (2) 50/50 drawings. Tickets can be purchased at the registration table on Saturday and at the Breakfast on Sunday. You can also pre-pay through Pay-Pal at knappydl_jr@comcast.net. If you think you will be staying please touch base with me so I can get a general idea how many to expect!! Thanks.... I'm just giving an update on the Clay Fan Fest #3 that is happening in May. There is a great website - www.clayfanfest.com - where you can get all the info you need, plus see photos from other years. The theme this year is "Jukebox Revisited" and you can listen to Clay singing by the jukebox. You can see the schedule of events with dates and see silent auction and live auction items. Plus a fabulous market place with bargains galore. Lots of fashion items donated by one of our beloved Clay fans from her company. You won't believe what is available!!!! So - I hope you will check out the website and make your reservation. You won't be sorry. Outside of the Gala, this is the best event I have ever been to. Thanks.

I do have many reservations already and hope to see many more of you who have not sent in a deposit! Please include your entree selection with your payment and contact info. The theme this year is ...and the beat goes on...Jukebox Revisited. There will be many wonderful items to browse through in the Market Place from fashion silk scarves to jewelry to many Clay related items. Join your Clay Fan Friends for a fun filled weekend of Jukebox fun, entertainment, games and many, many prizes and raffle items. There will be many wonderful items offered for the silent auction as well as many items signed by Clay for the lively and fun "Live Auction" Saturday night after dinner. Also enjoy a wonderful plated meal as only the Yorktowne can provide!! Oh... and don't forget, we will have 2 VIP tickets for the 2012 Gala in Raleigh. These tickets are valued at $1000 each so it will be an exciting win for some lucky attendee. Join another fan and try to get these and share the cost of the raffle tickets! Sunday Morning we will be enjoying the fan favorite...the "Round Table Breakfast" complete with an omelet chef...and more prizes!! To attend on Saturday only the cost is $65 and the weekend fee is $80 These fees includes everything except accommodations at the Hotel. They are, however, offering a special event rate to fans who attend and stay over night and have also extended those rates for Sunday night! Call the Yorktowne Hotel at 717-848-1111 and make your reservations using the code Fan Fest! The CA Viewing Party is $12 and is separate from the Fan Fest event fees. Feel free to join us Sunday night even if you are unable to come for the weekend! We will be cheering on our favorite player on a big screen TV!! There will be a very special raffle prize for those who attend the Sunday night event.This event starts at 8PM at the Hotel in the main party room! Share the fun with fellow Fans and cheer on our favorite player!! There will be a group dining at the Hotel at the Off Center Grill if you care to join us...this dinner is on you!! There will be plenty to do Sunday afternoon as there are buses that run to a great Mall where you can shop or take in a matinee at the multi-theater cinema! There will be bus schedules and driving instructions provided at the registration table all weekend! I also want to remind everyone that the deadline to order your 2012 Fan Fest commemorative tee shirt is April 15th. They are $18 and available in sizes Med to XX lg. These will be available by special order only. Anyone is invited to purchase one to help support NIP even if you are not attending. Be sure to let me know your size! Any payments for the above mentioned fees can be paid with a check or money order made payable to SCPAfansforCLAYAIKEN or through Pay Pal at knappydl_jr@comcast.net. I am also still accepting raffle ticket purchases for the "I Support Inclusion" to win that wonderful Jukebox throw. Chances are $5 each! This is another way you can support NIP if you are unable to attend. Even though the attendance was a little off this year it was still a great and successful event. In total this event raised over $5000 for NIP! Thanks to everyone who donated items for auctions and to those who bid so nicely on all the great items offered. Everyone had a blast ..... we always do! Stayed tuned for the announcement of the 2013 event in the late Fall! Hope to see some new faces in 2013....and all of you again who have supported this event since 2010!! Hugs...Cookie
