I just wanted to take a moment to explain a few things about our recent breaking of the WONDERFUL news that Clay is to appear on The Talk on July 18.
First, let me thank Claymore69 for approaching us and asking to share this news on the CB. We deeply appreciate her wanting to make sure that Clay's fans had a chance to be in the The Talk's audience to enjoy and support his appearance there.
I also want to assure folks of something that I know most of you already know, but that I feel needs to be stressed. We are very proud of our reputation at The Clayboard of making sure of our facts, as well as not allowing the posting of blatantly bogus information, without at least an expression of "take it with a grain of salt" from myself or my staff.
The Clayboard has been around since 2003 and we are fairly sure that most of those who know our reputation KNOW we would never allow such a posting to remain had we not done our homework before admitting Claymore69 as a member.
We realize that Clay has said if it does not come from him, don't believe it. But we all know in this fandom that there will be times that information comes from other sources that is just as legitimate. We hope that The Clayboard has proved over the years to be one of the sources that can be trusted.
