My dear mamarose, Rpoppert, catherine, Luna, chatty I hope you are all in good health and doing fine at present as your Families as well.

ALL

Today is the eve of my last day in America. I might too busy the whole day. I rather come here now and start a new thread as my dear chatty always requested me to do. I am excited, apprehensive of my new adventure. First of all, I entrust myself to our Lord above and those who will accompany me on my journey, praying to keep us all from harm and bring as safely to our destination.

Here you are, My Dear D4. I hope everyone finds this
New Home today, I know they want to give you a hug and wish
you a safe and happy journey. I have asked Mamarose to lock the
old one.

Thank you, Amelia, for starting our new Thread. I figured that
we can keep you with us for a few months. You even posted my
favorite picture of you holding your Grail Award.

You have so generously shared your Clay Journey with us and
especially with me. If not for you, I wouldn't have gotten to
experience many of his concerts. I have tapes of all of them.
I will always cherish the memories of your phone calls from
the Alley after performances. My favorite is your Birthday call.
You were so happy and excited. I was so happy for you.

My Dear Friend, I wish you happiness as you start a new life
with your family. You will be hugging Grandchildren that you
haven't met. They will get to know their amazing Grandmother.

I am happy for you, but I will miss my friend. Please keep in touch
with your Early Bird friends. We have shared so much together.
Always remember, A hug is only a click away.

May God bless you and your beautiful family. You will be in
our thoughts and prayers until we "meet again"

D4.. it's not going to be the same around here without you. I hope you have internet access where you are, and can still keep in touch! And, keep up with Clay. Travel safe, and have a wonderful journey into this next chapter of your life. Take care, and know you are so loved here!

Good Morning, Everyone

Official Spring arrived yesterday in the desert. It was a perfect
spring day. Today; the Desert winds are back and blowing like
crazy.

I guess D4kkkks is winging her way over the ocean right now. I
know for a fact, no one in her house went to bed last night so she
may sleep to wile away 19 hours on a plane. We probably won't
hear from her for a while. I just wish her a safe flight.

It's Saturday, our family day, DD and Sil will be here to pick us up.
I love Saturdays.

Hi EBs

We went to buy my leased car today but I think they convinced us we need to lease a new one instead. I'll probably be getting a Ford Fusion. My Ford 500 is really too big for me but I'll miss it. I get really attached to things and use them until they are useless

. Even my towels have to get all ratty before I'll spring for a new one.

I hope everyone has a lovely Saturday evening.

i just finished reading 'FORGET ME NOT' sweet story.

another dreary day on the Lake altho yesterday turned out gorgeous.

i thot of posting at 6:30 but then decided to go back to

Stupid

pot broke, now I have to boil water and strain in thru a collender. i hate instant altho I was shown a way to make drip coffee out of it too.
You can actually boil instant and when it dissolves it tastes like perked.

I finally was able to get back on the chat board last night.

. Took me almost two days.

Good Morning, Everyone

It's a beautiful sunny but windy morning in the Desert. We
had a fun day yesterday with DD and SIL. He is a kick.

Luna: I LOVE my little red fusion. We leased Fords for years,
then bought the last one, I drove for 11 years before the Fusion.
We quit leasing because we need to get something paid for, so
I can quit work before I am 90. It may not happen.
Cathy: I have only been to the Chat room once on OFC. I'm
glad you are finding your way around over there.
Rpoppert: Enjoy your week-end. Tomorrow it is back to work for
us!

I guess D4 has arrived by now and got to hug some of Children and
Grand Children. I hope someone hears from her soon so we will know
she made the trip okay.

I am outta here to watch the NASCAR race and cook Sunday dinner.
Wishing everyone a Happy Blessed Sunday.

I just checked my E-mail! Yea! D4: made to Hong Kong!!!
Only 2 more hours on a plane for her. She is probably there
by now.

Hongkong touchdown 1:39pm. Departure 4:40pm Arrival 6:45pm Manila

I can't call no HKG money. no cell access yet. Here free internet in HKG.

Good Evening EBs

DH is off now on a five day business trip. He will be missed. Surprising how much noise one other person in the house can make. The

will not be happy since Mommy doesn't feed her table scraps or walk her for-ever like he does. I'm concerned that she's getting overweight so maybe with him gone we'll both lose a few lbs.

Chatty, thanks so much for the update on D4. She left me a voice mail at work but it must have been after I'd left for the day. I think I'll keep it on the phone. Cathy, Hope you don't go too long without a good coffee pot. I'd go nuts (ok nutser) without my coffee. Rpoppert, ugh back to work with us.

I'll be an LB this work as computer time will be taken over by

walking this week.

Dear Ate and everyone,

Finally I'm home. I am here in person where I can only see in pictures. Your baby cousins are all adorable and they like me right away. I can spend my time just watching them. They are all like a living dolls. My going home is just the right time. It's not late to enjoy the rest of my years with them.Beside for the heat weather, which can resolve by airconditioning, I think I will enjoy every munutes of my coming home. All Ate Boots (now in Canada) Sons are adorable and very, very cute especially Hovan 5 (with pacemaker) he was the first one who waited, greeted me and hugged me even it was already almost midnight. I was excited to hugged finally my own daugther (came from Singapore) and my 4 brothers ( 2 are disable) . I finally get my real night sleep. Kuyang Ali eldset daugther Kyla 6 always hugging me even now I am in the computer. Kate 2 whom they said the most tantrums baby, like me too. Miguel turning 2 on 3./28 like me too,. They all allow me to hugged and kissed them even it was only our first meeting. I enjoyed watching them taking there baby baths. We ate our brunch together with Sinigang na Bangus with bayabas (milkfish with guava), and ripe sweet mangoes. We will visit the memorial where Inang, Tatang Mother & Father) and Angelo (GS) laid to rest in the afternoon where the weather is a little bit cooler.

tidbits:

My trip was smooth( no turbulence and air pockets). I am so thankful to all the Pilots and Stewardess for smoothe flying and landing and nice services. I ate first coz of my special meal, Low cholesterol and Low fat.St Christopher brought me and those who accopanied me in my journey safely. Although I was the last passenger to come coz of an accident in the Holland bridge. We were stopped for an hour. We arrived the Kennedy Airport at 9:30am. My departure was 10:15am. MY Balikbayan box was excess. Only allowed 2 lbs excess to pay and need to removed the other 2 lbs. All my Nieces and there Dad like an Army fixed the problem. The counter staff who printed my ticket and boarding passes was so nice to even escorted me to pay my excess baggage maybe coz I was the last passenger. It was already 10:30am. The trip was long and my first seat was at by the wings. I was seated in the middle, one seat away by the window. We arrived early in Hongkong but we still depart on time. I didn't have HKG money to call. Tried to exchange 2$ but still have problem. so I ended in free internet. My second seat was by the middle tail by the window. Our 2 hours trip from Hongkong felt like too quicked. I didn't ate my snack. I watched 5 CSI episodes and Slumdog Millionaire. I think I did all kind of seating position to be comfortable in my tiny seat. I spend my night without knowing it. I went to the CR just to excersise my legs. I can't fit my shoes, my feet got swollen. I landed my feet in my native land at 6:45pm. What a proud and great feeling to be in my own Country that I missed for 24 years. Now I am finally here, I can say my new journey and adventure will be good as good in my adventure in America.

Good Morning from the Philippines! My dear mamarose, Rpoppert, catherine, Luna, chatty I hope you are all in good health and doing fine at present as your Families as well.
I have good night sleep without using any blanket. Yes that how hot in here. I have an aircondition and electric fan in my room. Of course I m not in my birth suit I am wearing my comfortable duster (sleepwear. spaghetti cotton dress) that my eldest daugther gave me 24 years ago but seldom wore in America. I finally visited my beloved deceased Father , Mother and DGS Angelo. I felt like crying only when we left the memorial spot. It was a bittersweet moment. I was surrounded with my love ones and my loves ones 6ft under. I met my eldest daugther in-laws, Mother in law also returned home for good to stay with her husband. They are both in the above 70's. I can only be online at this time coz the computer is inside my grandchildren room.Today is my GD Kyla's kindergarden graduation. The place has no airconditioning, so thay asked me to stay home. I noticed I felt dizzy if I feel the heat outside. In as much as I like to be there, I need to take care of my health to stay longer with them. This is all for now. Take care everyone.

I am feeling :worry today for my D.H., He is

again, don't know if it is the flu or his Crohn's.

for him. He also smokes which really scares me. Coupled with his diabetes.....

Yesterday it was gorgeous here on the Lake.

I had to go and see the hygenist last night and have to go back to see the dentist tonight to get a couple teeth fixed. :p

I always have problems with my last tooth on the bottom
