I'm off to TO, grandson plays his first game at 10:30 against a team from the east coast. His second game isn't until 7:30 tonight. Hope to do a bit of shopping for myself. Zakus - I find the sun here is a way hotter than Florida in Jan/Feb and March. MJ/C-75/Patches - Have fun at the concert tonite. MJ - Hope to see some pics of your M&G. CM - I'm still so jealous that you're going to the Gala, BUT very, very happy for you. Bella - I'm really enjoying the wheater here, but was talking to people up north and it's the same there. It is a really nice day here, already 20C and the sun is shining. I better go for a quick run now before it gets too warm. Tonight claynadian75 and I are going to the American Idol concert here in Hamilton. The tour has never come to Hamilton before and I just about fell over when I found out it would be stopping here. lol. We will be meeting Patches there tonight too! aikenfan: Thanks! I got my schedule a few days ago and there are a few things I need to change. I will have to wait a few days to fix it because it is time consuming and everything has to be submitted online. I'm hoping everything will work out. Glad to hear that your enjoyed the African Lion Safari. My parents took me there when I was younger and it was lots of fun! Clayitagain: Hope you feel better soon! Claymatron: Congrats on the Gala ticket! zakus: We head back to school on September 10th, a few days after all the elementary and high schools start. I think the time is going to fly by now and before I know it, it will be time to go back. Thankfully I have lots of fun things planned before school starts. Have a great day everyone!

I am trying to decide to go to the mountains for this weekend early in the morning tomorrow. Its many hours of driving, not sure if I want to take that chance, my daughter wants to go...so we are trying to decide if we are going to Banf or Jasper. I really want to go to Jasper even knowing that I have been there so many times before...it is beautiful. Does any of you been there before??? aikenfan--Great pics, I like the lions on the rocks, but they are all beautiful. Thanks for posting the pics... And have fun at your grandson games. Zakus--I haven't yet seen Clay in concert, but thinking of going next time he tours. MJ & Claynadian75--Have a great time tonight!!! You guys are so lucky.. wish I was there too...sometimes I wished I lived there in Ontario, you guys have so many more chances for everything. Have a great night everyone.

I am having a hard time getting on my computer as my son is making notes for the wedding tomorrow. He did not bring his work laptop and he has one of those mini dells with no microsoft word. Justluci it turned cool here today as well. I golfed but should have stayed home. Think I will take a couple of days off. I hope you get to see Clay live. He is so good live. Yes it is harder whaen you live out west. Hope you all have fun tonight. I wish I had see the AI 2 tour. Can not even imagine what it was like when Clay came up through the stage. Aikenfan - I am glad you are having a good holiday and I love your pics, how is your Grandson's team doing? We had a pretty laid back luau - no decorations or Hawaiian shirts or leis etc but it was nice getting together. clayitagain - hope you are feeling better justluci - you really should experience Clay in concert, hopefully next summer we will have a tour to plan for Zakus - I am kicking myself for not seeing the AI2 tour too, thankfully we have clack but its not the same as being there. The boys did great yesterday. They won their first game against Nova Scotia, and also their second game against San Diego. It was a very long day. We went to two malls in between games. My niece from London is meeting us here for a late dinner after the kids last game. CF61- glad you had a nice get together. justluci - Clay concerts are the greatest, hope you get to see one next summer. Zakus - Enjoy your visit with your son. MJ/C75 - Hope you had a great time at the concert last nite. Patches - Enjoy your shopping spree in Buffalo. My niece from London is meeting us here for a late dinner after the kids last game. Lots of sun and warm temps for the whole weekend! The Idols concert last night was so much fun!! The crowd was going wild for most of the night and the response to Adam's set was unbelievable. His set was definately the highlight of the night, along with great performances by Kris, Danny, Allision and Matt. Claynadian75 and I had a great time and our seats were awesome (10th row center). After the show I was fortunate enough to meet most of the Idols at a private after-party. My Uncle is friends with Scott MacIntyre's music teacher and he was able to get me a pass to the M&G. It was so much fun. The Idols are really nice in person and I was able to have long conversations with Danny, Matt and Kris. Unfortunately Adam was not at the M&G because he is on vocal rest after the show, so I didn't get to meet him or the 3 girls because they left about 5 minutes after the party started. lol. I will post some pictures soon, as I have to get ready for work now. zakus: That is a scary thought! But it will be a nice thought to be done school in a few years Patches: It was great seeing you last night! I hope you enjoyed the show. claynadian75: Last night was so much fun!! aikenfan: Glad to hear that your grandson and his team won their games. Have a great day everyone!

After not having rain for months why does it have to rain on the wedding today. I really feel for the bride. MJ happy you guys had fun. Sorry I still only have one idol. Adam can sing but the rest of his life and some of the pictures on the internet did me in. MJ was there any decision made on that PM you sent me? Aikenfan good for the hockey team. I know there's a lot of Adam love out there, but I don't care for him...or his coattails. Nevertheless, I'm glad those who went to see the AI8 enjoyed themselves. Really looking forward to the Gala, it was wonderful last year, and an event that makes you especially proud to be a Clay fan. I'm just sorry that Bella can't make it. I was looking forward to sharing the experience with her, but she was great about encouraging me to go anyway. I guess I feel like I'm at the age where I enjoy what I can, while I can, because you just never know... Working tonight until 8:30 and then I have tomorrow off. Wheeeee! Its very late here, but I just wanted to say that I am on the Rocky Mountains with my daughter and grandson, we're having a lots of fun...even knowing that I drove for 6 hours today. Tomorrow in the morning we are going to the Whitewater Rafting, and we will stay here until 4pm and then back to Edmonton, It will take 4 to 5 hours of driving. Hope I can post some pics here sometime this week. Have a great sunday.

Yesterday in the sun in TO 50C. The kids have an early game 8:05. I really don't like these early mornings. And to top it all all this construction on the 401. I hate it. I'm not used to this. The kids won their first game against NB, and lost their second against the Cyclones (winners from last yeat). They had a very good team, all good skaters, made beautiful passes and had a great goalie. They were a little bit out of our league. The kids lost 8-3. MJ/C75 - glad you enjoyed the concert. justluci - have fun with your daughter whitewater rafting, that's something I'd like to do if ever I had a chance to. Can't wait to see some pics. Zakus - were you invited to the wedding that your son mc'ed. susygirl - you guys out west had a nice July maybe your Aug. will be as crappy as our July. Gotta go, you never know how long we'll be stuck in traffic. Yesterday was awful. Hope there's no construction on Sundays. Have a great day everyone.

Someone at work told me yesterday that it is supposed to be the hottest day of the summer so far. My Aunt picked a perfect day for our annual pool party. I can't wait to go swimming and play some games of water volleyball in the pool. It has become a tradition among my uncles and cousins. I have received a few PMs from mamarose regarding the Claynadian thread moving from the International Fan Forum to Clay Street. The majority decided that it would be a great idea to move back to Clay Street. So, mamarose has posted this thread on The Street to welcome us back: http://theclayboard.yuku.com/topic/30324 I will create a new Claynadian thread on The Street this morning and let everyone here know when it is up and running. zakus: I hope it didn't rain too much during the wedding. suzygirl: I run about every other day. I have found though that running on the treadmill is a lot easier than running outside. I find it difficult to keep a good pace when I'm outside. Unfortunately we lost our treadmill in the flood, so I have to go outside to exercise. How often do you run?
