Actually it is entirely my fault to because when we got our critters I decided to become a stay at home mom. Don't trust too many with my dog. The first half of 2010 better get here quick. LOL. Congratulations to Clay!!! The construction company has already arrived this morning and they are beginning to haul things out of our basement and into a large dumpster that is sitting in our driveway. First half of 2010 can't come soon enough. for a 2010 summer tour. Sorry I haven't been around much lately. We've been so busy. Daughter's apartment finally looks like one. She had so many boxes. We got rid of alot of stuff. C-75 - It was so nice to finally meet you. Much too short of a visit, hopefully we'll see each other next summer. Patches/MJ - Nice seeing you guys too. Zakus - Are you back home yet? How was it at the lake. The weather here is really hot. I don't miss the rain back home. MJ - Keep us posted on those renovations. Bella - Hope you had a great time with your Clay buddies. How's work? justluci - We had a great time in TO. Hope to get a pic. here soon. CM - Love seeing all this excitement on the boards.Heeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee!!!! OCF - We almost made it to London. Hubby had forgotten his backpack to go to Michigan's NASCAR race. We are golfing in the morning and then heading out later in the day. The weather here has been awesome so our oldest son could not have tomed his holiday better. He is coming to Yorkton as he is MC at his friends wedding on Sat.

This past week has been hectic - my FIL passed away last Thurday, we couldn't completely cancel our luau as my Sister and I had so much food bought and started preparing so we went ahead and had everyone for the day on Saturday and then my Sister and BIL stayed with us until Tues. which was the day of the funeral. MJ - glad to hear your basement renovations are under way Aikenfan, MJ, Patches, C75 - sounds like you girls had a great time on Sunday I am thrilled about Clay's new label, it will be worth the wait for a new CD and hopefully a summer tour in 2010 Have a great day everyone and enjoy this warm weather.

From now until the weekend we are supposed to have sunshine and high temperatures. Finally it feels like summer! I'm working 2-9:30pm today and then I have a day off. I'm not complaining but it's been to hot to work on my tan. We had a wonderful time at African Lion Safari. We took our own vehicle and got beautiful shots of the animals. The boys really liked the splash pool and my daughters loved their funnel cake. CM - Tks. for that great post, I haven't had a chance yet to check out Decca. CF61 - Sorry to hear about your FIL. Originally, Bella and I were going together, but the strike interfered with that and Bella had to back out. I still wanted to go though and, fortunately, was invited to join some of the London group ,who I went with last year. Can't wait! Judy, hope you feel better soon quickly! Hopefully if it stays dry for a while, you'll feel better. aikenfan - Sounds like you're having a great time here in the "south"! Like you, I'll be thrilled if we have another road trip next year to look forward to. Right now I'm just planning some future weekend trips with my girls. CM is right - originally, I hoped to go to the Gala this year too. Unfortunately, the vacation fund turned into the contingency fund and, with a little help from Breakfast Television, I got through the summer. Now I've just got to refill that fund!

We go a long time with out rain, and when it rains its only a little... we are having a very dry summer so far. I am still so excited about the new record deal can't wait for that CD.
