Well, I spent 2 1/2 hours sitting at the doctors this afternoon, I was not happy! How do you get that far behind???? CF61 - glad you made it home safely. Patches - hope you day went well Have you figured out yet if you can make the cluncheon? OCF - you are lucky to be able to dry clothes on the line! Clotheslines are not allowed in Mississauga, it's a city by-law. Pretty stupid if you ask me considering that they are always asking people to conserve energy! Just waiting for some friends to come over now, probably watch the hockey game or watch a movie. I stopped at Wal-Mart on the way home and picked up some great hors d'ourves, yummy! Aikenfan - the habs are doing okay lately, started winning a few for a change. They are still in the playoffs so all is good! Hope everyone is enjoying the weekend!

Apparently I have an evil twin these days! He seems to be running a muck on Facebook. Someone has created a profile using one of my pictures and is contacting people under the sad guise of being me. Personally, I think just one of me is more than enough, so I cringe slightly at the thought of a second one out there; especially if he is going around doing things that are untoward or unkind to people. Action is being taken to rectify the situation, but if in the mean time you happen to come across or be contacted by a creepy Reed, feel free to click delete, laugh it off as the sad, unfortunate joke that it is and go about your merry day. Such is life in the days of the internet! Also, if you see the need to pass this information along to others, feel free. Thanks for your understanding! Big Smiles, Reed

Thanks for taking the time to set it up. As you can all tell, my wonderful godson did an amazing job cleaning up my hard drive. He discovered that a trojan virus had attached itself to a key part of my operating system, causing it to run as slowly as cold molasses. You never realize until you don't have your system at home, just how much you miss it! Guess you can thank me for being offline on Friday night for that blog, right?

You will do a great job! And thanks for thinking of us dial-uppers. CF61 I am hoping that Walmart has Clay's CD as well. I guess we will find out soon enough. No clock changes for us here and I am really happy with that. In case some of you don't know Sask. went to Central Standard Time in the mid 1960's. Before that, the time zone boundary split the province in half; the eastern half was on central time and the western half on mountain time and we all observed daylight saving. When the change was made, the western half of the province effectively changed to daylight saving time year round. Now that daylight saving is in affect for 8 out of the 12 months, it almost makes sense to me that the whole country should observe it year round rather than mess with our biological clocks for 4 months. OK history lesson and rant over. Has anyone heard from quixote? I know that she said that she was dealing with some RL things but she hasn't been around for quite some time now; I am just wondering if everything is OK.

I am loving all of these great Clay pictures being posted here! It really brightens up the thread! Had a busy day at work yesterday. It wasn't bad when we first opened, but around 11:30am the crowds really started to come in and there were only 2 of us on cash. Sad to hear that Reed has also had the same problems on Facebook. I wonder if it's the same person as Clay referred to? OCF: That's not a lot of time in between shifts, especially with the time change. Before I started school this fall I used to have shifts like that where I would end at 9:30pm and have to be back to open at 9am. I hope you get some time off after these shifts. claynadian75: That is crazy! My doctor is the same way, the wait is always around 2 hours. girlcanuck: Congrats on 25 years in business! Bella: Glad to hear that your computer is back to normal. Canadian Fan 61: Welcome back! Cedoux: Thanks for the history about the time change in Sask. I didn't know that! Have a great day everyone!

Now Cedoux and I have different opinions about DLST but it is an argument that will be settled in 2011 when we have our next election. I love the sunlight at night and not 3 in the morning. Of course what else would we have to talk about if we settled on one or the other LOL!! I would love to see a picture of Parker. It is good that the paps leave celebrity kids alone but I bet he is too cute. So the gossip is Kelly C will be performing on AI to promote her new CD. I will never understand how come Clay was snubbed. Off to work out. hope you all have a good day.

Don't have my work schedule(or training ) yet but they say the market is opening on the 19th so am keeping my fingers crossed I can make the Cluncheon CW: Belated happry birthday greetings! Did you celebrate your day? We are so happy you found your way to our thread! Zakus: I finally broke down and joined a gym- DR.s orders really- I am being assessed next Wed. - poor girl! GC1: Definitely take a rain check! Cedoux: Would be nice not to have to change all the clocks twice a year! Bella: Glad your system are up and running well now.. OCF: Not the greatest shift times- take it easy! Training yesterday- interesting-actually found that it was relatively simple and I still have all my fingers.... I got to make pizza /sandwiches/garlic bread, cut /vacuum pack cheese and arrange deli counters. and last but not least wash dishes! I have determined that my hygiene rules for my kitchen at home are even stricter than theirs which is surprising, at least based on the training I received so I should do okay there. I was the only one on the deli counter that knew what mint sauce was- guess that is my"experince coming thru Just back from brunch with Dan Hill - well me and 100 others. He talked with Ted Barris about his book and then he sang us some songs - Has a new album coming out this summer - Got to chat with him personally and he signed my copy of his book- in the realm of it being a small world - he and Ted and a fellow I used to work for at Bank of Nova Scotia Chargex are good personal friends- we traded some fun stories about George. I am often amazed at the vastness of this world and yet the smallness of our life orbit and the interaction thereof. But back to real life and doing chores and ironing etc. Enjoy the day! Hope the weather stays like this and we are not hit with the freezing rain and snow they are predicting for our Newmarket and Uxbridge area later today and tonight.

Here is a pic of the swans, not as many as this morning but they come and go, we will feed them as soon as they can close enough.

After cautioning Patches to protect her fingers, I just cut a nice slice into my thumb julienning some carrots. What a klutz! Ouchie!!! Love the decorations, claynadian 75...especially the Sterling Heights one. You know, right now when I looked at that photo of Clay with the Spam bear, it made me wonder if he wore the bow-tie and the vest for that reason...sorta so he'd match the bear without actually wearing the costume. Could be, ya know! I just wish he'd let me tie that tie...I'm very good with bows...really!!!! Ask anyone! Here's some more decoratin'...you will notice that I like some of the full body shots..... Add that to the timeclock countdown which added 3-5 minutes to load when I was on dialup. Lets try to limit one large picture per page and have the rest clickable so we don't exclude our dialup members from our thread.

Thumb is still throbbing, and no, aikenfan, I didn't go for stitches, although my hubby says I should have....it's not a long cut, but it's pretty deep! I'm more worried about infection than I am anything else. I'm just trying to remember if they gave me a tetanus shot when I had the surgery on my arm two years ago. Does anyone know if that's standard procedure? BTW, I see while some of us like to be "up-front" in our perspective, aikenfan seems to be more appreciative of his assets! So with her in mind...
