While it may be tough to hear... I have not "friended" any of y'all on Facebook. Thanks to a few good friends, I've discovered that someone is pretending to be me on there. BIG SHOCKER! And though, I normally ignore such BS, I've learned that this person (who obviously has too much time on their hands) is being inappropriately rude with some fans, and that pisses me off a bit! ;-) While I do have a Facebook page, I have opted to keep it pretty private and really only use it rarely to keep in touch with my "Spam-Fam", my LA peeps, and a few longtime friends from home. Just wanted to make you aware... if you've "friended" me on Facebook, you've "friended" a wacko and a poser. I decided to use the suggestion of the 'Very Best of' Clay CD title for now and will change it to the 'right here waiting' title once the CD is released. Both are great suggestions and very appropriate. Thank you! I also decided to use the first post a little differently. I have made it into something like a 'homepage'. I know a lot of people have said in the past that they do not spend a lot of time on The Street or do not have time to look through both The Street and this thread, so this first post will be frequently updated with new information and Clay news (when we get it). That way, the most current news and all the conversation among the Claynadians will be easy to find in one spot. to all!

I can see you're going to do a bang-up job here and we all appreciate you taking it on. If any of us can help when you get busy with school or work, just ask! Big hugs and welcome to all who come here! We are Claynadians for the most part, but the only real qualification to read here is that you're a fan of our wonderful Clay Aiken. We think that Parker being half Canadian was very diplomatic of Clay...like taking inclusion to the limit. Now if we could just get him to tour up here! (Or anywhere, for that matter!) Great to see that Clay blogged last night and let us know about people pretending to be him on Facebook. Clay has allowed for his blog to be brought over to other message boards, so I have posted it in the first post for everyone. I'm off to get ready for work now. claynadian75: I would be devastated if I lost an expensive pair of shoes like that. That episode is one of my favourites too! zakus: I love the thread decoration! Sad really and most naive if people thought it was the real Clay as a friend on their facebook. Off to my first 4 hours with a massive meat slicer. MJ thank you for starting this new thread ... i love your idea for the first page... love the links on the first page... good idea!!! I knew you were the right person to take care of things around here..... Patches keep the guard on the meat slicer and you should be ok to type again tonight.... hope you dog is doing better.... I am coming down to Monday.. but will be going to a baker's show downtown at exhibition center... and going to see my cousin who is at Princess Margaret Hospital... who is in palliative care... so unfortunately i don't think i will have time for that lunch... i will take a rain check .. if that's ok... Claymatron... glad to hear your first year of work is going great and that you got a great review.... this year in May ... we will be celebrating 25 years in business... it seems like yesterday.. that we started our bakery... now its time for the next generation to take over.... but i still like working there... Liz... great to hear that you are out walking around .. it is the greatest exercise.. and when the weather is good it wonderful... can't do that up here... we still have snow up to the top of my head...

Posts: 3232 03/07/09 11:34 AM More Recent Posts	Good Morning! Just realized that I work today until 7pm, then start work tomorrow at 7:30am, and we'll lose an hour sometime over night! That's not a lot of down time for me between shifts, that's for sure. Pouring rain here. Yesterday was lovely ....got all my bedding washed and dried on the line. Farmers were doing here what they were doing near CM's house too, but we must've been upwind of them! Have a great day everyone!

Posts: 3492 03/07/09 1:07 PM Think I lost him in another life.....! More Recent Posts	OCF, wow, here I was feeling sorry for myself about having to work 1-5 today and then again at 10 in the morning. Your hours are way worse, and yes, we do lose one this weekend, don't we? Must remember to re-set the clocks, don't know about everyone else, but it always takes me about a week to adjust to losing that hour!! Thanks to all for the congrats on my review at work. My boss is a sweetie. Even though I'm working this weekend, I have next weekend off and again on the 28th/29th for the Cluncheon, so I really can't complain. When you work retail, you know you're gonna have to work some weekends, that's all there is to it. Hope everyone has a great day, Hugs all around... ETA: Yay for the bloggerman! Got into Brighton around 4pm yesterday, unpacked the car and went to visit in-laws who are both in the Nursing Home now. Today is unpacking, laundry, groceries etc. but it good to be home. MJ great job with the new thread, I love the idea of news on first post CM congrats on the great evaluation C75 glad your new job is going well Patches sorry about your dogs ears my little poodle used to get ear infections but the vet kept me supplied with drops that worked very well, when do you start your job? Cathy you will be in a Clay fog forever, there is no coming out Liz great to hear you are out and about eh, Judy hope you girls are feeling better Too bad for Von, I was hoping he would make the top 12, looks like a guys year again. I am hoping Walmart has Clay's new cd otherwise I will have to order from Amazon. It was good to read his blog and nice to know he cares so much about his fans to inform them about the imposter - I sure do miss him Back to laundry, have a great day everyone.
