Aiken is his mother's name. Parker is his mother's name by marriage to Ray Parker.

Despite circumstances at times, Faye loved her husband and Clay came to terms with him and said Ray Parker is my dad. So I think he was honoring all of them.

According to Clay the tradition in the south is to name your first born after the child's Grandmothers maiden name. In other words Fayes mothers maiden
name was Clayton. In that case Parkers first name would have been Aiken since that is Faye's maiden name. But because Clay had legally changed his last
name to Aiken it would have been strange for his child to have been named Aiken Foster Aiken so they went with Parker since it's the name that Faye has
proudly carried for many years.
