Clay is gentle
Clay is love
Clay is God's gift from above
The sweetest man you could ever know
That is why I love him so
His kindness shines like morning light
All through the day and night
He didn't win American Idol
But that's O.K., he doesn't need the title
Because he proved to us just how good he can be
Without the Idol title, you see
So even though he didn't win that part
He still has a special place in my heart
