Hellow everyone I havent been to this board in so long I apologize most if any of you all wont remember me but I was one of the first members here & have
wanted to meet clay since ai & have tried so many times & have failed until recently I won a M&G for the Hollywood Fl show
heres my story

I'll start with the concert... it was amazing! He sounded GREAT! I thought that I wouldn't like the play layout but I loved it! The actors/dancers were so talented & watching Clay respond to the funny comments was priceless! My favorite parts were when the little boy said something about the lady's face needed ironing & also when he talked about how coming in second didnt hurt clay aiken (the crowd went NUTS,& clay blushed)& of course he sounded effortless MYDYK brought me to tears & DSIAFCD was phenominal!
The whole show I kept thinking how am I gonna be able to remain calm when I meet this wonderful talented man...my heart began to race as Clay came out for the encore...which sadly I couldn't enjoy too much because of all the flash I kept thinking man why can't some people learn respect... the VENUE even had electrical tape for people to use...:
::but some people will never learn but anyway this wasnt about to ruin my night!
after the show the security took us up to the lower level seats to sit we sat for about 5-10 min when Mary came out then followed by Jerome he told us to line up & follow him down a long hallway...(somehow I managed to be first I originally wanted to be near the end of the line but I was so excited by this time I didn't care....He took us to the room & explained the rules very simple & nice & then he left the room for about 5 minutes my heart was racing so to trying to calm myself I started talking to the people behind me who were very nice,when the next thing I knew I saw someone come from behind us & say "Hey Guys Merry Christmas!" then he said wait...not christmas then I chimed in "happy new year" then he laughed & said something like that I don't know what it is....he then motioned for me to go up to the table from here on it was a blur but I will try my best to remember exactly what happened....

Me shakes his hand which was very warm & soft)Laci,L-a-c-i
Clay:where ya from Laci?(he signs my book)
Me:Alabama
Clay:what part?
Me:Talladega(pronounced Ta-la-diga)
Clay: Talladega(he said TallaDAYGA lol with enthusiasm so I think he might have heard of it since he said it like all the media & non locals say it (its a famous nascar track)
Me:Clay theres two things i would like to tell you if I can
Clay:you might have to tell me just one so pick your favorite
Me(pauses) Clay because of you I met my best friend!
Clay:REALLY? whats her name?
Me:Whitney
Clay: i'm not sure what he said exactly but he said something like tell her I said hi)
then we get ready to take our picture he puts his arm around me & I do the same he was so much broader than I was expecting & gave a sweet "half hug"
Clay: tell ya what,tell me the other thing too
Me:I made all statechoir!
Clay:you did? Congrats! thats awesome
Clay:what grade are you in Laci
Me:10th!
Clay:tenth,well nice meeting you Laci Happy New Year!
(I begin to walk out the way I came in but that was the WRONG way I turned around then blushed)

I went out of the room I couldn't hold it in I had been too calm I ran to my aunt crying saying omggggggggggggggg he is amazing!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I will never forget this day traveling over 800 miles to meet clay even for about a minute was worth it completly!!!!!!! He more handsome in person than you can ever imagine & I hope everyone will get a chance to meet him don't give up trust my I tried so many times & failed & when I least expected it the unthinkable happened
