I could'nt believ he was in the same room as me!! I was there with my mouth open in awe!!! HYCA, EIH, and the other first few songs beautiful! (I can't even remember He made a catwalk out of the partition arond the pit, (I think it was), and walked from one end of the room to the other during a few songs( BYLM was one) and said He liked that, and wished that all of the venues had that! He seemed so close! :thud My daughter said, I hope he doesnt fall :hehe The TV medley went well, my daughter liked it The theme from Pefect Strangers Clay did that nicely, a really good song. A lot of those TV shows had great songs, so now that I heard him singing them, I can see why he did this segment! It was really good!! LAA beautiful!!!:cloud9 He still is having a time with the lyrics to some of the uptempo songs, but that is OK!!! This was fun too!!! QUiana and Angela souded awesome> I think Angela missed a few words at the beginning og her song, but. she was awesome!! Those ladies looked hot up there! Both looked very pretty!! Clay is dressing them well!! :lol Thats all I can remember!!! But I had an awesone time!!

I also meant to add, that the banter with Quiana and the letter from the fan was so funny!! Clay was laughing so hard while he was reading it, he could hardly talk! Quiana pulled this letter out of her blouse hahaha!!! And said it was sweaty!! Clay was reading it. This fan said something like 'what happened to the 'hot singer you used to sing with' (not exact words-I'm in a fog) The fan also mentioned something about 'macaroni and cheese and Krespy Kreme Donuts' I hope someone got this on video! After that, he gave the letter back and Quiana put it back 'safe' in her blouse! When Clay went to sing the next song, He sucked in his stomach really hard! That got every one laughing!! Also he said that he had forgoten his Tshirts at home and borrowed one from the drummer(edit), who is much smaller than he. Clay asked him to come up and stand next to him. You could see the differnce in the two! That was funny also!!! I had a great time!!! I miss him already, and the show was over too fast!!! edit: sorry It hard to spell when I am tired and dizzy from seeing Clay!!!

What an incredible surprise!!! I was seated in the second row behind the catwalk, and I was literally inches away from the man as he stood there right in front of my face. I saw every freckle, every hair on his stubbly chin, every inch of his beautiful face (and other body parts)... I've never been that close to Clay for such a long period of time, and for a moment there I thought I might pass out (either that or lose my voice from screaming so much). Clay must have thought that my friends and I were crazy, because we were jumping around and screaming like maniacs. Actually I think he loved it because he stayed in front of our section for a good amount of time. Our whole section was going berserk! When he went back on the stage, he said "I liked that!" .... and he came back out onto the catwalk two more times. The second time was when he was dancing with Quiana (amazing I didn't have a heart attack) and the third was when he was singing "Because You Love Me" (yes, I do, Clay.) It's funny, because when we first sat down, we commented about the annoying wall in front of our section.... little did we know that it would lead to the most exciting concert experiences of my life! The concert itself was AMAZING!!! Clay was so funny, he looked gorgeous, and his voice was perfect. I'll try to remember a few things, because honestly, the events of tonight are still foggy from my "Clay high". Let's talk about the "letter". Quiana had a letter from a "fan", and Clay read it on stage to the audience. Clay could hardly read it because he was laughing so hard. But this is what the letter basically said... "Dear Quiana, at ClackUnlimited, we watch videos of a very hot and sexy man. Where did he go? What happened to him? Clay's fans sacrifice so much for Clay.... why can't he sacrifice macaroni and cheese and Krispy Kremes?" Like I said, Clay was splitting a gut when reading this letter, but then he kept making sad faces (in a joking way) and saying that he was old and fat. What is wrong with some of Clay's fans?!?! Unbelievable! Okay... what else. Clay's voice was perfect tonight. And the crowd was INSANE for him. We gave him at least 7 standing ovations, and he couldn't get us to stop cheering. This was also a very respectful crowd.... no screaming out during his beautiful ballads, and I hardly saw any camera flashes. I'm trying to remember some of the funny things Clay said tonight. After he sang "Lover All Alone" (beyond beautiful), he said that he was losing his voice. Then he said that it was cracking. Next he said "I'm going through puberty! FINALLY!! And you're all here to see it". Finally, in a really deep voice he said "I'm a man now." LOL!! The place went crazy!! I LOVED both of the song medleys. They were so clever and entertaining!! I had never seen any of the clack before my concert, so the "classic medley" was such an incredible surprise!! It was so funny!! My favorite part was when he was jumping around the stage and singing that rap song. OMG, that was so great!! Can Clay be any cuter? I don't think so. LOVE HIM! What else, what else.... I was sitting with Sue4AllYouDo and our friend Ellen, and I'll have to ask them to fill in any other details about the concert because it's a miracle I can even remember my own name right now. I was so happy to meet some members of the Clayboard tonight! I'll see you on the Street!! Best concert of my life!

Posts: 61 07/18/07 12:58 AM Reply Quote More Recent Posts	THE CONCERT WAS AWESOME!!!!! He was sooo funny! He was teasing everyone with his long toes, and his jeans looked awesome on him! Oh and when he sang Lover All Alone he was so sexy, it was like he was singing to me. He was joking about being questioned by the FBI for the past two weeks so he hasn't been able to learn the lyric to The Way You Make Me Feel. Whomever wrote the letter about Clay watching his wait and staying away from macaroni and cheese should feel like an idiot. Even though Clay had a great time with it. He looked great, there is no reason for dieting. The only negative thing about the concert was most of the staff was very rude. They lied and said the cops were on their way and going to arrest us. Then they tried to tell us that Clay had already left in a limo that we had seen go out, but once again that wasn't true. They said we were unruly and that is why it is unsafe for Clay to come out after the concert. They refused to let him do it. Jerome argued with the staff to try to let him out but they weren't having it. In the end we had to leave. I think the Mann Center could have handled this a lot better and were extremely rude. What kind of professional lies to their customers? Without us they wouldn't be employed!

Even as he began to lose his voice from having such a terrific time, when he sang the final two songs, it was butter !!!!!! He had SOOOOOOO much fun with that CATWALK, that each time he used it, it just BLEW US AWAY. He took us to another time and another place, it was like being frozen in time as he sang and danced INCHES away from us. I have nothing more to add, except I may never be the same again !!!! The only thing that could top tonight would be a meet and greet !!!!!! There was A LOT of LOVE in the performances tonight....Clay's love for us, and ours for him.

Posts: 61 07/18/07 1:29 AM Reply Quote More Recent Posts	i forgot to mention about the t-shirt. he said he forgot to bring his and sean, the drummer, let him borrow his, and then he brought sean to stand next to him and he's at least 6 inches shorter than clay so that's why you can see more belly in some of the pics. also after the 1st 3 songs, some lady came in late because she got lost and he brought her up to the front and was picking on her for being late. said they only sing 6 songs so she wound up missing half of the show. and he asked her about people she knew in the crowd and who she came with and then he said there were 2 seats up front that no one was using so to move up there with her friend and he didn't want anything for it, no kiss, but not to blame him if the owners of those seats came and kicked them out of them. i also saw a young man get escorted out for taking pics after they had come up to him a few times to warn him. they were really strict. also want to say how nice it was to see tiggy and claylily while my friend and i were in line hoping for a clay sighting. my friend is the one who posted the previous review because she doesn't have a sign on and she loved the concert, as you can probably tell from her post. she's one of the younger fans. only 26 although she's not as enthusiastic as i am. she's more of your normal type fan. i did see a lot of different age groups there but not a whole lot of testerone this time. he really was amazing and he looked really good. and i really hope someone got feet pics this time because he was doing a lot of toe wiggling.

The concert at the Mann was SUPERB. Really really great energy... the crowd was really on it tonight. Lots of fun. Clay was SPOT ON vocally. Before LAA it was clear that he was losing his voice; it was going in and out as he was talking... but he got through the last few songs with no problems. He was simply flawless tonight. Absolutely beautiful, his voice soared. I, for one, was most looking forward to the second half because some of my favorite songs were featured in it. But the first half did not disappoint, that's for sure! And I have to admit, I was little apprehensive about the "TV Theme Song" Medley and the "Classics" Medley... I just thought they might have been too goofy, but they were so much fun! Really, for anyone who might not be too keen about them, the medleys really are loads of fun. Because it's Clay just being Clay... he's such a fun, energetic, "adorkable" guy and it's just a lot of fun to go crazy right along with him. Haha! Some highlights: IWTKWLI: Very powerful. Clay and Quiana really killed with that one. Amazing harmonies. The CATWALK! That was a great surprise. I had hoped before the show started that maybe he would walk on it... and he did, quite a few times! Came right through the crowd, it was very cool. THE SECOND HALF in its entirety was stunning. WY was incredible, MOAM brought tears to my eyes (always lovely to hear that one performed)... LAA was just purely beautiful. That is my favorite Clay song of all-time; it is just heart-wrenching -- all of the emotion he puts into that song, his phrasing, the cello... it gave me chills. It still gives me chills to think about it. Finally, BYLM: It's a very close one between this and LAA as my favorite. He just sang this TO US with such honesty. I read somewhere last night about how we should really cherish this song when he sings it and embrace the moment... definitely true. It just touched my soul to listen to him sing the lyrics, walking through the crowd again on the catwalk... when he sang "Through the lies, you were the truth" he just shook his fist and sang it with such meaning... The cheers were phenomenal at that point. OMG it was just such an emotional moment to tell the truth, and I was holding back tears... to no avail, of course. I am on CLOUD NINE right now, and I don't expect to come down from it anytime soon! Overall, it was a really excellent show. Probably the most fun I've ever had a Clay concert. It had it all... A voice that soared, music that touched the heart... emotion, energy, humor -- just all around a really great time. I'm so thankful that I was able to go to this show. I hope everyone else that went had a great time as well, and I hope that everyone that has yet to attend a concert for this tour has a wonderful time! I guarantee, it's a show to see!

I couldn't hear all the banter, so it's great to read your accounts. You guys really showed him the love tonight. I especially love how much he enjoyed the catwalk. I think if he could, he'd be as close to the audience as possible. That's why his blog was so touching. He knows how much the Line means to the fans, and I do believe he enjoys it as much as we do. I posted on another board that it's always a lovefest inside the venue and out.

I am totally talked out and yet I'm not sure any of the people I blabbed at the whole way home got half of the magic I was trying to decribe. I think I lost my powers of coherent speech when I discovered Clay was actually making use of that two foot strip of wood to perform. All through the show I kept hoping, please let him come back here for BYLM. And then he did. The one two punch of LAA and BYLM after a fabulous second half leaves me drained just like I felt at the end of NAT after You Were There and Solitaire. Just utterly blows your mind. Trying to add some more - "Through the lies, you were the truth" he just shook his fist and sang it with such meaning... The cheers were phenomenal at that point. That was such a powerful moment. I just listened to it played back on the cell stream and you can sort of hear the roar but to see it was something I'll not forget anytime soon! And then when he changed up the lyrics at the end (where he had been adding in And you believed) to say "Made me believe" Because you loved me. Forget it. Done. Toast. Puddle. But then every song left me in pretty much that state and it wasn't the humidity. I loved the new lower EIH - sounds sooooo rich. And TOA rocked. WY brought the house down when he just soared. MOAM - wow does this sound good with an orchestra - even Clay thought so. more tomorrow edited cause when my mind is blown, I apparently can't spell. EATA - see what a Clay fog does to your brain? How could I have forgotten to mention Lover All Alone? Maybe because there aren't enough adjectives in the universe to describe how exquisite this song is and how flawless and heartfelt his performance is. The power of this song and this performance is visible in the absolute silence that befalls the crowd. Not a sound, not a breath, just Clay holding thousands of people in thrall with his emotion and his voice - purely brilliant. Just Exquisite!

I just got home to Delaware and really can't add to what's already been written. Everyone's covered it so well. All I can add is that he never ceases to amaze me!!!!!!!! Great show, great voice, great banter!!!!!!!! Angela and Quiana were so strong and powerful!!!! Jesse was great!! It was very hot in the box seats, but who cares?!?! We were all enjoying ourselves!! For anyone that may wonder when it's their concert time: clothes: wear what you want! I saw everything, dresses, shorts, jeans..........you name it! Merchandise: black shirt, picture (not really poster size, more like 12"X20" or so..........didn't measure it). Cameras: They didn't really check for camera's. One woman staff member was telling us as we came up the steps, no camera's, etc. and if you were near her, she checked. But the people taking tickets didn't check unless you actually opened your bag/purse for them. Unfortunately, I was afraid they'd check more, so I took my camera back to the car....... But there WERE people with camera's, so be on the look out for pics!!! Clay's voice is in top form, so those that are going to a concert soon.......have a great time!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
