The weekend is supposed to stay this way! I'm going to head to the pool shortly. My day is a little compressed since we're going out tonight. I wish we weren't but it's too late to back out now. I'm not keen on the idea of traveling on the 4th due to the drunk driving that occurs. Well, I'm off. Have a terrific day everyone!

We are definitely into our Desert Furnace Days. These extreme temperatures last from 3 to 6 weeks, then it cools down to the 90s until October. D4kkkks: It's good to see you here. Are you traveling to Abu Dhabi today or are you already there. I get mixed up on your days and time zones. Luna: Have a great time tonight. Cathy: I totally go berserk if I can't get on the inter-net. Funny thing, I spend less that an hour a day on it, but I feel it is my lifeline to the World. It is Family Day as well as the 4th. We have a nice fireworks display in our little community. I hope DD and SIL stay for it. Wishing everyone a Happy Day filled with FUN.

My son was so tired yesterday, we are just leaving to Abu Dhabi today at 5am. It's almost 2am, I am not sure if I can get sleep. See you in Abu Dhabi later as long as my son Ali's new villa has an internet access.

It is a good thing the internet has ECARDS for birthdays, I'd go broke just buying cards and stamps. Today is D.H. 's sister's b-day. I think TODAY we are planning on going to Leamington. It is about 20 miles or so up the road from where we live now, still along Lake Erie. We really liked it when we lived there. It is really sweet that Clay wrote us a message last night, and if I remember right he blogged on my b-day(FEB 12TH) D.H.'s b-day (Mar.15)and also D.D.'s b-day (April11). Someone would have to double check. I am still trying to find papers here. Seriously I have issues with losing stuff. Well that is about all for now. Have a great day!! Chatty, hope you enjoyed some fireworks yesterday. Our local big show isn't until next weekend---kinda weird. We won't go because the crowds get to DH. We had a nice evening. What an appropriate way to spend the 4th with folks who came here because it's such a great country. We were the only born Americans in the crowd. A real reminder that we are lucky to live here. I did catch some fireworks from the highway on the way home. Well, have a nice Sunday everyone. :bighug

The Blog from Clay made it extra special. Luna: Your day sounds emotional in a good way. My SIL was born in Italy, raised in England and aspired his whole life to live in America. He moved to Canada to be on this side of the ocean, then FINALLY to USA. It took him 10 years to acquire his citizenship but he finally made his dream come true in 1999. Cathy: Thanks for the coffee and bagels. Hope your day is a happy one. D4: We will be watching for word from you when you arrive in Abu Dhabi. Here's wishing you inter-net access. Came in from Leamington a little while ago. No sooner did we drop my mom off at home that the van sounded like it lost it's muffler. D.H. took a peek under the van and hopefully it just needs a gasket and some bolts. I was . no trips tonight We got some K.F.C. and went and had a picnic in the park and while we were there, the town had ART IN THE PARK. Mom bought us a couple hand spun "clay" . Then we stopped at the grocery store on the way home and just as we were pulling out of the parking lot, that horrendous noise started. i thought it was car behind us , DH. said NOPE it was us Oh @%$& Well I will tty'all in the morning I wonder if Parker is walking yet. my mom's friend gave me 3 big bags of clothes today Cathy

Thank you for everyone safe wishes. We arrived safely in mys son Ali's place.. Along the way, we passed the dessert. We can see just dessert sand. electric lights are under construction. According to Ali, it is 30 minutes driving in the dark at night. The newly renovated villa is centralize aircondition with 3 big rooms, 2 bathrooms, kitchen, dining/living room. It is comfortable to live in, spaceous space for my grandaugthers to play around. The place is in the downtown area. Yesterday, Ali toured us. around the blocks. We saw the Hospital, where he work, his daugther School, the newly opened City Mall. Ali make sure the internet is working when we arrived. No TV yet. This is my home now. It's nice to be with my two loving sons and families. I missed my two loving daugthers. Oh, after 24+ years, I missed the first time the July 4th fireworks watching with my US family in TV and the backyard bbq. But there's no place like home. Take care. Luna Bear I can SO relate to you, usually if I wake up in the middle of the night I can't get back to . So I get up and get on the computer , usually after that I can go back to sleep. I hope you are doing fine as your families as well. Today is my DGS Haven 2nd birthday born on 07/07/07, my daugther in Canada youngest son. Luna, you are absolutely right, I wish I can live to both of my sons. Cathy, my daugther in LethBridge Canada is doing well. She can't wait her family to join her. DH went into the office so I was able to get up at 4:15 with him. I'm proud that I didn't turn over and reset the clock for me to 5:00. Boss will be in today for a few hours. Still looking for papers . Like my house isn't that big. Two bedrooms and a bathroom. Which only leaves the kitchen and living room. My kitchen actually runs the length of the house. It is all open concept. From the outside it doesn't look that big. What does everyone say about the Michael Jackson fiasco. A VERY public memorial. . I hope you are all doing fine as your families as well. Today is my DS Kristoffer Glenn 31st birthday. He was born on 07/08/78, my loving youngest son. Our first birthday celebration together after my long absent. I've been sleeping the whole day, now I am still awake. chatty, remember the time when I have difficulty in making decision. I was thorn between my love ones including Clay. We both leave our faith to God. And here I am, enjoying my Children and GrandChildren. I missed some and I gained too many. Have a great day everyone. MJ's memorial was beautiful. Money grab? I think not since seats to the event were free. My heart breaks for his children, family and fans. I am really stressed out today, I mean I know that the Lord takes care of me but I still worry about where I am going to get the $$ to survive next month and put $$ down on a couple bills this month. oh well ,I can't keep worrying about it or it will drive me crazy. Looks like it might be another gorgeous day on the Lake, thank you Lord, it isn't really warm here yet though. That could change today, it is s'posed to heat up and be sticky. Oh b-4 I 4-get D.H. says . I asked him if he minded me being on the computer, as I always seem to be. He said NO. I am having a good time writing my fan fic and yes it is based on my life. Not sure if I am s'posed to say that or not, but I just did. . Yesterday i was sitting i the shop and all of a sudden I started crying my eyes out, We really miss our DD. Now I am thinking it is going to be a weepy week. Does anyone know how to get the smilies at the top of the old ones.
