* This probably should be in the TBAF forum...and, Mods, you may want to move it there.....but I was so impressed when I saw the photos that I thought others might also enjoy seeing them. I thought I'd post them here where more people might see them and then let you move the thread after a short time.
My sister is the director of a county-wide afterschool program in North Carolina. This year, her program was the recepient of a TBAF "Let's All Play" grant.
She was really excited to hear they received the grant, but even more than the money, she was excited about the training that would come from the Foundation as a result of the grant. She felt her staff could benefit tremendously from learning how they could best assimilate children with disabilities into their afterschool and summer programs.
Aron Hall did the training for them this past week and she emailed me afterwards to tell me:
Aron Hall was the best summer camp trainer I have ever had for staff. Everyone is very inspired and unafraid to have a program of inclusion. It was a great day for all and he really is "great" at what he does.
And, she also shared with me some of the photos she took during the training. I hope you'll enjoy seeing them as much as I did!
