Old Magsters feeling a lot better. Great to hear from Nicki and know she is coping ok. It's a long time to spend in a country that is so different. It can be a complete culture shock. Karen - hi and Kelly - hope you have managed to get warm. That weekend weather was a culture shock. Prefer Nicki's 28 degrees. Oh I forgot - I love Clay Aiken. Lv to All The Magster .

Congratulations Karen, in some way I know a little how you feel..There are days when it would be easier to crawl under the covers and just cry, but with a weak smile and a positive attitude you paint your face on and go out into the world, and thanks to friends and family another day goes by and all isn't too bad, all of the time.

All be it a bit nippy! Frost wasnt too heavy this morning. Unlike Thursday when I just about needed a pick axe to get in the car at 8.50am! crikey! Was still -2 at 9am. Bloody freezing!!! lol Oh no Fran.... your family moving back to the UK??? What bought this on? Its been great keeping up with Nicki's happenings at the other board. We miss you Nic. I go to Palmy for a scan on the 23rd of this month. Just for the day. Waiting to find out when they want me for 2 weeks. I have a bad feeling that its gonna coincide with when my bosses wanted me full time in the shop for a week. Yikes! My other boss has gone to LA for the weekend. Wish I was there too. (But I really wanted Nadal to win Shhh!) It's ok, Karen. I knew when Sean came back from UK 2 years ago to get another degree at Vic that it was only temporary. They really need to live in the UK - firstly for the job availability and secondly for Naomi to be close to family. Hopefully one day we can go and visit what bubbly said re work and your Palmie appointment - getting everything fixed is no.1 priority

Heavy frost and everything just glistening even the sheep. The little church looks like a Christmas card and the sun is shinning. Fran, it doesn't seem a minute since your son arrived but I guess his career will be in England. I know my son will up and go also but I put that to the back of my mind. Worn out from yesterday - looked after my two grandchildren for just 2 hours. Seemed like a lifetime. My daughter's home is on the market so the children had to disappear for a short time. Karen - keep in there girl - you will win this. Kelly hope you are feeling better - at least on the net you don't have to talk - even if your voice goes. Deidre - it can only get better but a long way to go. You are quite remarkable. Really you are. Take care Claymates Duck if you bump in to a Glambert fan - they really don't like us. Lv Magster

I really need to light the fire. Its damn cold! My plans have been changed for Palmy. Im now going down on Friday for a scan and plan session. Then treatment starts next Tuesday. They figured waiting until the 23rd was really leaving things too long. So thats good that they were able to give things a hurry up! Sooner it starts the sooner it will finish. Yay!! I was reading somewhere this morning about Adam officially coming out gay. He is on the RS cover this month.
