Nicki i hope your enjoying your time in india we miss you here already. Karen hope your ok. Deidre hope you had a good time and that the weather was nicer than its been here. Sorry I have been AWOL the past few days, but went up to the BOP to spend some time with my parents. Took both the dogs with me. Had fun! Watched plenty of DVD's, didnt have to cook which was fabulous! Or do dishes. Pure bliss!! Didnt get to Whakatane to visit Helena. maybe next time. Nicki!!! Hope you manage to tell us something about India soon. Least we know you got there safe and sound. I miss my early morning text! Off to check out the rest of the goss. I have my Oncolgy appt tomorrow. Get the results from my CT scan. Hopefully its all good!

Grrrr Well the news wasnt what I was hoping for. I have to go back to Palmerston North for another 2 weeks radiation therapy. There seems to be a new leison/tumour/thing! growing in my spine again. Further down than the last one. Will be going there for a day in the next couple of weeks for another scan and get new tattoos..(dots so they know where to aim radiation) Then I will go back for a 2 week stay sometime after that. Least I know people in Palmy this time. Jen is there and Kelly also a friend from my Twilight board. Yay!!! Hi Canfly... Good to see you!

You must be so tired of it. Someone I know has recently been diagnosed with a rare form of cancer and has to undergo three months of intensive chemo. She is a solo Mum with four children and has been in denial about it at first, although I think reality has sunk in now as she has had to have a blood transfusion first. On a brighter note, I was having lunch with some colleagues the other day and they were talking about AI8 - Adam and Kris. Some one then compared Kris to ...'....what's that guy's name?...that Clay Atkin guy...he is doing much better than Ruben....he should have won'. Someone else agreed too. Didn't go to work today. Have been out to my daughter's graduation instead. Nice day to have it. Finally some sun and NO rain.
