And btw that article is wayyy off in the amount of CDs that Clay has sold. He sold 4 mllion alone by 2005 with just MOAM and MCWL. Combining ATDW and OMWH and many more MCWL he has probably sold close to another million.

I will even do the dishes in that beautiful kitchen at his home base. Interesting that not all the winners have earned what the some of the runners up have earned. I'm forever surprised at his success because I don't give that many people in this demented society the credit for good taste and intelligence when it comes to entertainment/singing ability. What a shame that society has resorted to the tasteless garbage we have to endure out there in the malls and everywhere else these days. Thank you Lord that I have people like Clay and Buble and a few others for musical entertainment.

I agree, except Clay gets no promotion(except negative) anywhere, unlike Buble, Groban etc, and all those other idols. It is such a shame, and totally beyond my comprehension. Clay has suffered a backlash because of that and 19m is a very powerful entity. Despite that, cream always rises to the top. I believe that Clay's next label will know exactly what to do with him and we will see him get the promotion he deserves [actually, I believe RCA knew exactly what to do with him too but they just didn't bother ]. He is free of them now . That 2Mill plus looks pretty good when you consider the lack of promotion. As was said already, imagine what his earning would have been promoted and had endorsement deals.
