I'm thinking that Clay just now might be able to sing....don't forget he's had surgery...and I'm sure he wouldn't go ahead, make plans, and then find out he couldn't go through with it. That really doesn't sound like something he would do. Baby steps...Don't know how many songs he will sing..but it's getting him out there in the public...without putting too much strain on his jaw. Sounds like it is a last minute thing, and I'm betting David is thrilled to have him aboard...David thinks Clay's voice is "Fantastic"..so if he could get him in this...it's a win win for both... I am thrilled that the people on the West Coast can get to see Clay after so long... They have waited a long time.. it should be a Fantastic night. Don't forget...like what Clay said in his blog a while back. Sometimes he can't spill the beans....This is a David Foster Show...with Clay appearing... It's up to David Fosters crew to do the announcing on this first. I'm just so happy that he will be out there being seen in such a prestigious venue.... Hugs, Judy

But I have to admit that my very first thought when I read about his upcoming appearance with David was to wonder if this would be first "official" coming together of a new David/Clay business relationship. During the course of his Friday night chat with fans, he did say that he would be going back to the studio "eventually"--perhaps with a label associated with David?? Just a thought....something that makes me go hmmmmmm.
