You all know Lynda Loveland has moved over to WRAL-FM. WRAL TV talks to the radio station every morning. Lynda just mentioned during that talk that she would be talking to her friend, Clay Aiken, this morning. She said maybe he'll talk about the baby. They stream so start listening! You can skip the download and just click the Windows Media Page player. I also noticed that the morning show page has podcasts available of full shows.

It was mostly Clay giving props to Lynda, but also talked about Lynda giving him his first interviews when he started out on AI. Very upbeat and they laughed alot. Asked Lynda if she dressed up .............. said he was in FL at Golfing event........congratulated Lynda on her new job, very nice ! .......... talked about going to Hollywood and how Lynda was the only one who would interview him on his mama's back deck and she was his FIRST interview.....laughed a lot .....laughing some more....hee hee ..............Clay and Lynda complimenting each other ........... and it's over ! Very nice.

Clay asked if Lynda brought food to the station. He asked if she was dressed up or in sweats. She said she was nice casual or something like that. Clay asked if she did the TV thing that morning. He asked if it was cold there and mentioned he was in Florida for his golf charity event. I think he mentioned going out for golf again today but not actually playing. He said he wanted to call in and congratulate her on the radio show job. He said that Bill is funny and quick. Bill mentioned doing the intro for Clay doing the National Anthem. Clay said he remembered and he was just 13 at the time. Clay said that he did his own PR when he went to Hollywood during AI2. He called all the local stations. They all said call back when he made the top 12. The only exception was WRAL and Lynda Loveland. There were three from the area who made it through to Hollywood. Lynda's news director said to choose one of the three to follow. She chose Clay. Clay joked that Lynda will be on the radio more than he would. The first Clay mention is at about 27:11 (where they talk about how good friends Lynda and Clay are), also at 40:52 and 01:03:29. Clay actually calls in at around 32:49. Then at 01:08:21, they talk about back when Clay used to come to the station for interviews, and there would be fans of his from all over. (Lynda calls Clay's fans "amazing" and "loyal".)
