I believe the video I have is done by SLC. Who was it that he sang to and what's the story behind it?

I'm just guessing, but I don't think there was a story behind it, really. I never read of one, anyway. Clay might have just recognized SLC and decided to sing to her camera, thereby knowing he would drive us all insane by doing so. Again, I'm just guessing.

And her name was Amanda. So Clay sang "Mandy" directly to her. Just our sweet guy giving a young lady a birthday she will never forget!

Reply Quote More Recent Posts Message Friend Blocking Invite Ignore User's Posts	this also happened at the atlantic city concert. he was singing to a girl named mandy and she didn't realize it to we told her. she was sitting in the 1st row. she had a meet and greet the night before so that was how he knew that her name was mandy.

And, in return.. whenever we watch the video, he is singing to each of us!! At least that's how I like to think! And, I must say, that is one hawt video.

Amanda and her mother had a stubhubM & G that night (my friend and I did also). She had also had a fanclub M & G previously that tour so Clay recognized her. Amanda asked Clay to sing Mandy to her and he snarked that he could not. However, just before the concert where the four of us had front row seats, a venue security person told Amanda and her mom to change seats farther to the right so that they were inline with the direction Clay usually sang Mandy. He indeed was singing to Amanda that night, there is no doubt and he did it again in Atlantic City because he noticed her and spoke to her doing the 70s chit chat.

I looked at it again and it now appears to me that Clay is looking to his right with his eyes when singing it which would be to the left of SLC. SLC, maybe he was singing it to Amanda?
