I need to put the ornaments on. I do miss Laurie and the kids helping me. They are growing up. Laurie didnot come over yesterday, otherwise she would have loved to put ornaments up with me. She is doing her own tree and creating her own memories. Laurie loves Christmas and all the old cartoons and shows. The love the Grinch Stole Christmas. She is like a little child when it comes to Christmas. lol. Sat is our trip to NYC and to see Spamalot. Our trip is in danger of not going. I may have to make plans to take the bus or train in. We will find out tomorrow. Have a good day everyone. Geri

Posts: 15284 (12/01/08 7:44 AM) Jumpin' Coffee Bean More Recent Posts Message Friend Blocking Invite Ignore User's Posts	G'day Kingdom ~ Mates I have to agree...when it comes to Christmas shows.....ya cant pretend its Christmas till ya see the OLD version of the Grinch cartoon...I even have a little Grinch stuffed doll sitting on a basket above my sewing machine I absolutly LOVE Christmas time...alll those olf fashioned Christmas cartoons are the BEST...we even have Rudolph material at work..the one with the abonable snowman & with the Island of Misfit toys & Yukon Corneilias... cant say exactly what I played with lastnight but I did get some "cards" ready to start writing on Im really sorry ...I know mine may be quite late this yr....I still havent made the library bags for my SC neices & nephew but I am gonna send them some fleece for snuggly blankies...with note saying bags to come soon.....doing same with my mommy's sock...putting all her sewing needles & junk like that in with a big note saying...Bring a Truck for rest of Christmas treats or Ill give to her early when Daddy comes for his jukebox off to work for me as usual...our poor notions wall is looking bare...but I am going early to get some goodies from the clearence material rack...its odd enough my Mazy will love for Christmas blouse...gotta look for some for my babys shirts for school concert too cant wait to see all the Palace trees for this yr...or whatever decorations in wonderful PEE fashion...Im lettin the babys decorate mine again this yr...they did awesome last yr & we finally get to put it in the front window this yr...now we gotta think of a new name for him.

You've been like the Energizer Bunny this past month! Hi LILY!! Why is your trip to NYC in jeopardy? Car trouble? It's always a wrench when one's kids begin their own traditions with their own families. Shows you've done a good job though and that they are off creating memories for their own kids. Once you have your ornaments up, DO post a photo for us. I'd love to see everyone's trees! I LOVE Christmas! Another really rainy day. I am staying in, and dry and playing catch-up with the household chores. Hope you all have a great day ahead of you. Hard to believe it's December already!

Your card is the first Christmas card in this house. One of the only Christmas specials we make sure we see every year in the Muppets Christmas Carol. We have it on DVD. It is so cute. I have always loved the Muppets. Calalily, why would you have to cancel your trip? Done! Kissed the frogs. Now where is my Prince?

Sweet...Im so sending your treats on the bus...gonna be tons easier ...plus Im gonna be late making everything up & trying to send have I ever got 2 little brats...I just got buttered Morg's ideabut Jess had to do it

I had a trip planned with the Park and Recreation Dept. They did not have enough people for the bus. I am booking in a few minutes with Peter Pan from the next town over. Thank goodness they have tickets. I am going over there in a few minutes. I am excited again. Daughter felt bad I bought tickets to Spamalot. We will get there and spend time In The Big Apple and get some knock off purses. hehe. Thats what she wants there, lol. We will have a great day!!! Nice day here in Mass.
