Whether it was an invite that prompted him to attend or whether it was totally HIS decision since he is a member....he went knowing full well that he would most likely be a target. I agree with Merry, that this may have been a bit of an initiation into the "Club". Clay can take it, we know that....we really don't have to "take it" for him. It may upset some of us, but by Clay staying visible in the entertainment industry shows that he is not going anywhere. He may have many goals for his future.....I've learned to trust his judgement, for he has always, to me, been a decent, honorable and respectful man, in all that he does. Perhaps by attending "A-list" events, his talent will finally come to the forefront. It's sad to say this, but, thereagain in this new world we live in, sometimes it's not what you know, but who you know. All I know is this, Clay has the backing of the best people on the planet....his family, friends and his FANS.

While reading this thread the past few days, I have held the picture of Clay in my mind, singing "You Were There". He sung it with so much love and passion. I am not going to visit this Thread again. I hope those who think Clay was "honored" to be included on the A-list has read the porn and filth that came from the mouths of A-list. I haven't read the jokes about Clay and I don't intend too. I am moving on with Psalm's beautiful post in my mind and the picture of Clay singing to the Lord as if the audience wasn't there. I believe with all my heart that Clay is still that man.

Posts: 1625 (10/26/08 3:22 PM) More Recent Posts Message Friend Blocking Invite Ignore User's Posts	yeah wow..it doesnt matter how much good those people do in their lives, how proffessional and respected they are...because they took part in an adult event that wasnt meant for the public, they can no longer be respected? not everyone believes the same way, one belief system isnt the correct way, everyone is different and nobody should sit in judgment of someone else..oh to be a celebrity, and have every move you make judged and ridiculed...have every moment marked down in every blog in america, have your standards held up to the standards of those who think you arent doing right. thank goodness I dont have to stand up to such standards, goodness knows I wouldnt measure up
