I have been playing it a lot lately, over and over. I especially like to listen in my car when I am alone and just turn it up so that I can hear everything. Not great to be tearing up and driving though!

Clay, IMHO, opens up his heart and lays all his emotions on the table for all to hear. The Gal who wrote this song, ( Natalie Grant) is a Christian song writer and I know she meant it as a prayer. I think that that's why it touches us so deeply, you can tell when you listen closely to the words, and how Clay sings it, that it's not really a love song to another person. I attended a conference this summer at the University in Central Washington. One motivational speaker had prosthesis. She was born with a clubfoot and she decided to amputate her leg (knee down) when she was 21. She is also a dancer. Before her speech, she danced with "The Real Me". She used N. Grant's version though, but it was beautiful. I wish she used Clay's TRM.

Me da ganas de llorar cuando la escucho porque me toca fuerte. Yo se que el ama mucho a nuestro SENOR, y una de las cosas que la palabra de Dios nos ensena, es que tenemos que gualdarnos hasta matrimonio, pero las jentes del mundo no entienden eso porque tu sabes que ellos ni creen en matrimonio ni en abstinencia, y muchos no creen en Dios. El se ha desviado un poco del Senor, por eso cuando yo lo oigo cantar esta cancion, parece que le esta llorando a Dios y me conmueve mucho oir lo llorar asi. It was done perfectly as like so many, I believe the song is a spiritual expression also!!!! Thank you - thank you - thank you!!!! Also loved reading earlier about the differences in N. Grant's lyrics. Wondered so many times what they were and Clays are so perfect for him. Breaks my heart more can't see video and hear song(s). needs to be accidently on purpose posted where many can see and hear!! (Sorry - I get a little emotional at times.)
