So I think he is just getting back today or is now home. .....see below. Clay Aiken has just gotten back from a trip to Somalia in his role as a UNICEF Ambassador. Aiken was in Somalia for five days to observe firsthand UNICEF projects to bring clean water, health care, education and empowerment for girls there. After reading up a bit on Somalia, my heart goes out, not to just its children, but to Clay. Knowing that he always does his "homework", this trip could have been really hard on him. I've always thought he needed rest after Spamalot and OMWH promos, but I'm beginning to think he may need even more, mentally and physically, now. He may not be checking in on "us" now and then, but if he is, I hope he is seeing support and real concern for his well being. I'd be the first one to say how much I miss him, but dealing with the business, family matters, and this UNICEF trip...I'm starting to think Clay's vacation hasn't even started yet!!!! Yea, I miss you and love you, but please, take some time for just you so you can come back to us refreshed and happy. Thank you Clay, for all you do.

Oops, make that today, just turned midnight here in California. (And I LOVED the blonde hair too, especially the photoshoot pics, the candids of him walking along the street with Jaimie, and the Kimmel show, seeing him in person so close. Definitely best look he's had.)
