Kimfreek: That video clip was hilarious and Clay was at the top of his game that night ! What a hoot he
was ! That clip also shows just exactly what a good friend Clay had been to Kim , promoting her all over the place like that ! Talent, a hilarious sense of
humour and class all rolled into one gorgeous package !!!
Another one of my favorites when one of our clackgodesses (was it "spotlightlightlover" or "SecrectlyLovesClay"?) was videoing Clay and he turned the cameras on her as she was filiming him doing this !!! Does anyone have that clip again ? |

I found the whole Kimmel horseback show wildly hysterical. (He and Kimmel are pretty much hysterical period...) The recent Benihana interview was great too.

Ok, here is a challenge for someone ... I would love to find the clip of one of Clay's cutest moments . It
was an interview on the bus when Clay was talking to the interviewer about the turkey baster that a fan sent him and he realizes this is going to get out to
which he mutters "AHM SCREWED"! Now if anyone can come up with that from the archives that would be fantastic ! I used to have all these but when
I got a new computer I lost a lot of them !
Thanks |

The Charlotte leg hump is high up on the list (I was there and poor Clay was just burying himself deeper with every word he uttered. He got himself all flustered and embarrassed and we laughed our heads off!) BUT... Clay as the guard braiding those ribbons at the closing show of Spamalot...I don't think I've ever laughed so hard in my life!

I am starting to crave for more Clay's daily update like during "Spamalot". Now, it is
all unforgettable memories. Who can forget.... I can't help still laughing whenever I think of his role as Guard 1 in the Tower, "Where is you
dead" is like he was singing. The cute dance routine with his buddy Sir Lancelot and Not Dead Fred. The "All for One and One for All",
"the Idol of my ages" and the "yodeling ". The "Find the Quail", "The Camelot" adorable dancing and singing.
The "Sir Robin" Broadway big number, Wow! The deadliest hysterical scene "Drunken Guard", I was tired laughing at the end. The "Father Maynard", his versatility shine. His finale number, the two finger salute. Thank you for great memories. Thank you for wonderful CD, especially dedicated for us. How sweet of you. |

hmmm let's see...I've got it OKCLAYHOMAN.
I seem to remember hearing about a certain meet and greet during the last tour. Everytime Clay would want to reference a certain person he would point to one of the women at the meet and greet. She would then say the word describing the woman for him since it was a word he wouldn't say.

I think it was Scarlett and if I'm not mistaken it was this past summer tour. I was there. I'll see if I have it somewhere in my computer. |

The Charlotte leg hump is high up on the list (I was there and poor Clay was just burying himself deeper with every word he uttered. He got himself all flustered and embarrassed and we laughed our heads off!) I was just trying to figure it out. Was he just trying to explain something and then was like, "Errr...that was dumb." once he did it. Realizing it was a fan. Or what? Woo...I wake up from a nap. It's just as funny several hours later. |

Lordy it's so hard to choose just one.
I agree with the "they WILL be locked" one. Another that makes me laugh everytime I watch it was on Leno, when he was talking about getting really sick in Slovenia and calling his mother and asking her to get Ruben to sing at his funeral. When Jay remarked that he was being overly dramatic, Clay exclaims, "But I thought I was gonna die!" in his adorable, most southern accent. Priceless! Does anyone have the little clip of that? |

Ok, I will list the few I can think of, and I am sure I will be back to add more.
Last summer, Pala. Singing to flat Clay! I was there, and I was tyring to listen to this very nice song, but, the whole thing was so hilarious. I was laughing so hard. I agree with the "he hit me with his cane." And, I have to add, that entire interview. When he was talking about the food in Ireland, and the McDonald's. And when Jimmy asks what was wrong with it, Clay says, "It just wasn't good." And, I think there was more, he said. Well, I know also about the food still walking around on his plate. I know, I am mixing different parts of the segment there, and not getting word for word. But, to me that whole thing was just so funny. Spamalot the guard scene. The weekend I was there, was about the time Clay had started "admiring his weapon". No braiding yet, just the admiring. For four shows, I was pretty much on the floor with laughter with that scene. Two different Lenos. The first one Christmas album promotion. The whole talk about the leftovers and Tupperware in his fridge. And the milk bottles having to be lined up. And, then last year, for ATDW. the twisty ties. And the passing out in the McDonald's. That is what I am listing now, but, I know there are many many more. And, I know when I read others I will be saying "ditto" over and over. |

I love all of these mentions...such wonderful, funny, silly memories!
One of the funniest things I can remember in addition to these was in Tampa for the SRHP tour and during the TV themes medly...Clay was hysterical during The Brady Bunch!!! You'll have to check it out. Also that was the night that Clay Quiana and Angela were talking about his being hyper and said that Angela threw her phone down in the tour bus and wanted to help find Clay's medicine...she asked him if he wanted two instead of one. That whole night was soooooo funny! Also, in Ft. Myers during the same tour, when the lighting tech wouldn't keep the spotlight on Quiana for her solo, every time Clay walked away the spot followed him, so he ended up sitting on the stool and pulling Quiana onto his lap so that the spot would stay on her. It was so funny with some of his actions and her reactions. |

The Bugs and Bats banter rank high for me!
When Clay got hit with a bug, and when one went down Angelas shirt, and Clay said 'It's a black hole down there!' I laughed so hard! It was even funnier the way Clay responded when the girls got mad at him and reminded him it was a family show!! On TV a few years back, (not sure what show it was), Clay talked about visiting another country and complained that at the restaurants, the meat was not cooked well, and that 'it was still walking around on the plate!' And when asked what he was served, he said "A bunch of nasty animals that no one ever heard of!' |
