This function is on a Friday night, so unless you work on Saturday, Teddy, you would just miss one day 
It is very expensive to buy tickets and when I checked it out, I was told that David Foster's friends and celebrities, etc. had all of the prime seats reserved. I did get a ticket for this and think the show will be spectacular. Of course if Clay shows up it will be a great big bonus! |

I work different days every week except for Tuesdays and Thursdays. Those are my school days. Though I just realized that I'll be requesting off that
Monday for the week since I'm going to the Ferguson show. I wouldn't be able to request Friday and Saturday too unless I fly home super early Saturday
morning in time to get home for work since I'm always 1-10. Hmmm.

It would be great if Clay was part of the tribute but not counting on it. That being said, I would think Clay may very well attend. Looks like it's

The poster at CV who reported this sighting in Burbank posted that her sister saw him at a restaurant in Burbank with an UNIDENTIFIED man, eating lunch. The sister had no idea who the man was. Once the restaurant was named, other posters on the board pointed out that it is in the same building as Warner Bros. Records--David Foster's label. THAT'S how some people made the David Foster connection, but it's all speculation as to who Clay was having lunch with, since the only person who reported this to the board was not there herself, and her sister did not identify Clay's lunch partner. I then posted that the restaurant is in the heart of Burbank's Media District, right by Warner Bros., Disney, ABC, NBC, DIC, Disney Channel and numerous other production companies and record labels. Clay could just have been having lunch with a friend... or it could have been a business lunch with someone from one of the entertainment companies in the area. But if someone has since identified the man positively as David Foster, please bring over that post so we can know how that person found that information. As much as I'd like Clay to have been there tonight, at this point, I would not be happy that for some reason, they could not advertise him as a featured performer. Why would it be necessary to hide his name? He would draw paying guests. Why should Katherine McPhee have her name out there, and for some reason, Clay's name is hidden? I'm not feeling the love for that idea. Clay doesn't go to many of these events. When he IS at one, I'd like to see his name trumpeted as a BIG DEAL... not snuck in there, as if no one particularly cares if he shows up or not. JMHO. |

be there at all. Perhaps with Spamalot and the CD coming out there was no way to work him in. Lets hope that if he was having lunch in the Warner Building that
it means something good will be happening for Clay in the future.
