I cannot wait for the new album. I also love the lyrics to OMWH and can't wait to hear Clay'sing it. I recently got the One Republic Album (Ryan Tedder's group) and it is really great. That being said (and this is NOT for you), I hope that no one is foolish enough to post a downloadable link or especially a YouTube montage or ANYTHING with this song!!!!! It will be available for download at iTunes soon enough and we do NOT want to hurt Clay's sales on downloads because we are selfish enough to compromise his CD. I sincerely hope that restraint is used. Again, nothing to do with Clayworthy, just a worry that came into my mind at the thought of people not being able to hear OMWH on Monday. I think so,didn't he say that he would have chosen Lonley No More or TOA as his singles for ATDW if he had had the choice at M&G during the summer tour?

But.. what I don't get.. don't other artists' fans request songs, A LOT from their favorites? I know we can be enthusiastic, using Clay's word. But, I just can't believe other fans of other artists, don't request their radio stations for their songs too. So, why aren't they considered spammers? I think this is totally unfair to us and to Clay. And, if it's requests that are what gets a song played often on a station, and gets a song hits, and ratings, how can a song get played.. if it's not requested often? And, how can any DJ's deny what people want to hear? I just really have a tough time believing, that other fans aren't bombarding radio stations with their requests too. But, I don't see any other artists banned from their stations for this same reason. I think when it comes to radio play, Clay just gets the raw end of the deal, time, after time. And, it's time he had a fair chance. No, I don't hold all of Clay's success, tied to radio. And, I have my CD's, so that just fine. But, deep down, I really want Clay to have some radio hits, if nothing else to help record sales. Plus, I just want to heat Clay coming out of my radio. And, I think the rest of the world, misses out on some very special, and awesome music, when they don't get to hear Clay. I sure hope this will all be changing with Clay's new CD. It's time for him to be heard, on the radio, and often.

Quite frankly I agree with Belle, Clay's statement on stage about "sometimes a good song gets played on the radio ...if someone pays for it" at least tells me he knows d**n well it's not his fans. kelly's fans have the same problem with her album now and we are not the only fanbase that has requsted songs. Quite frankly Clay's words leave a real bad taste and he can suffer the consequences of the fans deciding not to bother with supporting him in any matter if he actually has radio. I think Clay has referred to the label being the ones to choose the single more than once.

I don't think he blame ALL things for fans.Those could be the PART of reasons he couldn't get played. He definately said that first reason is that the djs don't like him and they have 'misconception' on Clay fans.In addition he said not majority but just A FEW fans did spammed the station.When the djs already had prejudice on Clay's fans or Clay in their mind, they easily consider that as spamming and make it excuses for not playing him even though other singers' fans do the same thing. and I am amazed that those explanations could be turned into 'Clay totally blames all his fans for not getting played.'
