As I've said before, a drop of 60 - 70% for 2nd week's sales is "normal."

But I do hope that this CD gets legs as we go along. It's too beautiful not to be heard.

Oh, wow. .I was just over at HDD, trying to see what the projections for the week were. And, saw nothing. This is so sad. How can he fall out of top 10 already. O f course, with no radio play. I was having such hopes for the sales of this album. I still have hope, and I really do think this album can have legs. But, I really didn't expect such a huge drop week #2. I sure hope, there is better news when the numbers come out.

I don't know if this has been mentioned here already or not, but I was just looking at the World Top 50 Albums Chart, and Clay debuted at #9 with 96,100.

Since I hadn't heard any news on the street, thought I'd come and see if we had any news on the 2nd week yet. I figured he'd fall out of the top 10, especially without much radio airplay. Wish they'd play OMWH. If people heard it, they'd be reminded of how good he can sing and go out and get it. Of course an AI performance would be awesome, but that probably won't happen either.

If Clay falls off 70% next week, as did Madonna (?) last week, that would put him at approx 28,200. Maybe enough for the 11/12 slot? I am trying to be positive here for now.

Just as an FYI - 2nd week sales - on average - drop 60 - 70%, so that would put OMWH at about 25 - 35K .

We shall see.....
