I may get "killed" for this, but with Clay not on tour and Spamalot is over, I think it's just great he still has the same fans, and probably more, as before. Just goes to show how faithful we are to such a great person!!!

I wonder what Teacher Clay would have to say on this matter. Is there anyone on the board who is active in his foundation that might know the impact of Savage's blanket statement (if any, 'cause I really don't know if intelligent people listen to MS anyway)?

I have a mobile phone that allows me to make my own text message alerts and ringtones from mp3 files. I was wondering if any of you know of any funny Clay sounds I can use - it could be him laughing or saying something funny, preferably not longer than 5 seconds. I was searching for Norwegian Clay articles again, just to check if he gets any mentions. About 90% of the articles are related to David Eriksen, who produced some songs for Clay and was in the judge panel on Norwegian Idol in 2005. In one article he's asked to list his top5 in several categories and in the category 'favourite Idol contestants' he lists Gareth Gates as number 1, Kurt Nilsen as number 5 and Clay as number 4! In other words, he likes Clay better than Kurt.

I was just thinking about what I feel is more important to Clay.... his singing career or his foundation.
So here is the choices he could choose from..

Five years at the top of the music business...great album sales and winning all the music awards out there plus international fame.

OR

One million dollars given to the Bubel Aiken Foundation every year for the next 30 years.

I think he would go for the money for BAF.....what do you think he would...

I picked up a free-sheet today in Chapel Hill called "Independent Weekly" and on the front page right at the top, there was a blurb with the line - Clay Aiken for Senate.

On page 48, there was what looked like an advertisement taken out by Clay himself for a shot at the Senate for 2008.

I don't know how reliable this...
